Summer Bridge Program at UGA LSAMP
What is Summer Bridge?
The Peach State LSAMP "Building Bridges" Summer Institute is an intensive three-week preparation program from Sunday, June 26 to Friday, July 15, 2016. The program provides students with the opportunity to attend mock STEM classes, become acclimated with UGA’s campus, participate in STEM-related field trips, take research lab tours with esteemed UGA faculty, become socially engaged with their program cohort, and attend informational workshops with various student-services departments at UGA. The program schedule includes workshops regarding effective resume writing, lab tours, research presentations, and panels focusing on student services available at UGA.
During the academic year, eligible Summer Bridge participants may become Peach State LSAMP scholars. Click here for more information about Peach State LSAMP Scholars at the University of Georgia.
